LIVE green: to lessen our impact on our planet, we must change
• Less energy: use compact fluorescent bulbs; hang laundry to dry
• No junk mail: call junk mail companies and remove your name from their lists
• Less driving and flying: walk, bike, use public transit or take the train
• Clean green: switch to ecological cleansers
• Use organic: from food to clothing to shampoo, avoid harmful chemicals and pesticides
• Green power: contact your power company and ask about purchasing green power
• Free cycle: use recycling clubs and thrift stores to recycle your used goods
• Reduce packaging: buy products that use less packaging and bring your own bags
• Less meat: eat less meat to conserve water, land and energy resources
• Less water: take shorter showers; don’t leave taps running when not in direct use
Let your voice be heard: Governments around the world make decisions every day on power, housing, vehicle standards, and the use of fossil fuels that worsen the problem instead of creating a clean energy future. We must tell decision-makers that this is not good enough and that we need change. We must let our politicians and business leaders know that (1) the climate crisis is urgent, (2) technologies are available to solve it, (3) we need our leaders to enact policies so climate-friendly solutions are put in place. Talk to your friends so that they may choose to do the same. Do it for yourself. Do it for the children. Demand change.

• Breathe: Take a few breaths before responding so you can be open rather than reactively closed.
SERVE the world
• Be kind: Do random acts of kindness for those you know and for total strangers.
• Help out: Volunteer at a not for profit centre or for someone in need.
• Be in nature: Go for a walk. Smell the flowers. Notice the birds. Watch the trees. Discover Nature’s intelligence, and joy.
•Live green: The body of the planet supports your body. What you do to it affects you and us all.
